seeds of destiny

faster than a speeding bullet in bullet-time... a post! i was able to tag a message on the tagboard a while ago when our oic went out for a break still logged into the internet pc (we newbies got no access yet). that quickie peek at the information superhighway (why doesnt anyone use that term anymore?!) made me itch for more so here i am at the usual nameless computer shop.

anyways, job's peachy fine. i'll have a new work schedule next week and im hoping it's either the am shift or graveyard. had a good run with the vampire sked and i wanna give the morning sked a go. it's just like going to school anyway, only you're getting paid. id have plenty of time to do myself stuff. one disadvantage: no more heaven-sent night differential...

oh we had to postpone our short film shoot last sunday because the camera we needed wasnt available. which allowed me to spend high-quality time with the maiden. we basically did those nice lil things we miss doing together and there was one great magical moment that i wish had lasted forever. it was fun and refreshing. that's all im gonna say.

well, gotta scram for now. the bed awaits. muchas gracias for your time.

p.s. btw, the title of this blog post represent two things: my work life and my love life. also, it is the title of our short film. wish us plenty of luck!

appreciation

yay! thanks to the messages. they are greatly appreciated. just got off from work and still wide awake so i decided to go online (actually wanted to watch high tension on dvd then go to sleep but my housemate who has the tv is still asleep). anyways, im currently in a 60-peso per hour internet cafe so this'll be short.

tin: thanks. good to see your name on the board as well. take care always.

randell: jg summit building, man. about the short film... i really cant dish out any details without jeopardizing our concept. the roles have been cast and we'll be shooting durin our free time this week, meanin less sleep for us. if this pushes all the way through: done, mastered endorsed (post prod lingo), i will make sure that you'll be the first to know what it is and where to see it. (that last sentence is kind of a clue already, dude)

aud: hey! how are you? good luck on all your endeavors too!

well, that's it for now. check out my upcoming (okay, late) movie reviews in spew: batman begins and star wars revenge of the sith. thanks and have a smashing day, everyone!

miscellanews

(drumroll please...)

greetings and salutations! i am back. oh yes, boys and girls, i have returned. i got kinda "tied up" with a lot of stuff for quite a while but things have finally eased up a bit so now ive got time to do what i gotta do. well, some of them, anyways. whether you like it or not (or you just dont give a hippo's ass about it) me, myself, and jai, we're all here to blog again. (applause! standing ovation! panty throwing!) here we go...

*ive been workin as a junior editor at gma network for over a month now and im honestly having a blast. i like my job, (to everyone who asks what i do: i edit promo plugs, those "ads" for gma's shows that pop up during commercial breaks. i do not edit the shows themselves. well, not yet... ;9) it's not as easy as it sounds but i enjoy doin it. especially now that im on the graveyard shift, suited for a vampire like me. we operate powermac g5s all the time and ive become a lil disoriented using a pc again. only human... speaking of being human, it's kinda weird how i dont feel cold in the post production office anymore. back in my training days and my first week of work, id shiver like a naked epileptic in alaska, even with a jacket on. now it's like nothing, making my co-workers think im a freak. anyways, ive got my id now so anyone who wants access into gma to watch eat bulaga or something, just come to me. weheheh.

*also with a job now is maiden (i guess it's safe to still call her that). with her brainy beauty, thunder tongue, and child-like charm, she bagged a sykes position effortlessly. way to go, kiddo. she'll begin her training tomorrow and her high-paying call center career right after that. i am happy for and proud of her. and yes, envious. salary-wise, of course.

*ive found a great friend in the form of a chubby chinese chap named john wong. he's into just about everything i am into, a pop culture buff like me. we only differ on two things: physically, and he watches pinoy movies, attentively enough to critique them. anyways, we'll be collaborating on a short film and deadly serious about it. since ive been a victim of idea-stealers all my life, i'll not dish out any details about our plans. calling all aspiring actors and actresses who're willing to work for free for now...

*ive placed a tagboard/shoutbox in this blog which i'll call what-knots. to all droppers-by, please leave a message! thanks!

well, that's all for now. before i sat to type, my mind was flooded with things to say but they seem to have migrated to my subconscious. maybe they'd resurface later and bug me so till next time. take care, world.
